A ghost covers one’s eyes (鬼揞眼) captures a building in the artist’s ancestral homeland of Hong Kong covered in ghostly bamboo scaffolding and mesh, evoking the spectral layers of longing that accompany diasporic experience, and the complex veil of histories under which hybrid identity is blurred.
