We invite the community to join us in “Creating Roots”, an immersive workshop that bridges ecology and creativity. This two-part workshop includes a walking tour by Herb Club LA, flower & plant press samples collected, a pressing kit for samples, and culminates in a creative workshop. Flower-pressing kits will be distributed at the end of the walking tour and include instructions for your flower-pressing journey. Once ready, we will reconvene to collage our pressed specimens, transforming natural materials into personal keepsakes to commemorate this event.

This hands-on experience invites visitors to explore one of Los Angeles’ urban parks through an ecological and artistic lens.

We encourage the community to help us grow environmental awareness and learn about how to better steward our native flora.
